Chitose Tsuru is the only local sake in Sapporo. It is located in the city center and is easily accessible. Limited edition sake and seasonal sake are also available for purchase as souvenirs. Tastings are also available!
Sapporo TV Tower
It is directly connected to the Odori subway station and has excellent access. No matter what time of year you go up, you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama of Sapporo. If you are lucky, you may even get to meet the mascot character, TV Dad!
Sapporo Clock Tower
15 minutes walk from the hotel. This is the place to visit in Sapporo! The oldest surviving clock tower in Japan. The building is a museum and you can enjoy the atmosphere of the time. The bell still rings at noon!
Sapporo Station
Only two stops from Susukino Station on the Namboku Subway Line. It is a 20-minute walk through the underground passage.
Okurayama Viewing Point
The site of the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo. It is about 10 minutes by bus from Susukino.
Sapporo Maruyama Zoo
It takes about 30 minutes from the hotel by subway and on foot. It is famous for being the first zoo in Hokkaido. The most popular animal is the polar bear.

Jozankei Onsen (Hot Springs)
About 1 hour by bus from the hotel. Surrounded by a beautiful valley, the hot spring resort is bustling with tourists from home and abroad. We recommend the 'Kappa Liner' bus which includes a bathing ticket!
Otaru Canal
It takes about 35 minutes from JR Sapporo Station to Otaru Station and about 8 minutes on foot to the canal. At sunset, you can enjoy the romantic view of the gas lights along the canal. It is easy to get to Otaru from Sapporo and is famous not only for its canal but also for its seafood, glass art and music boxes.
Sapporo Mt.Moiwa Ropeway
Mt. Moiwa offers a panoramic view of the city of Sapporo. Locals love the refreshing view no matter what time of year you go up!
Sapporo Beer Museum
It takes about 7 minutes from Sapporo Station by direct bus. The only beer museum in Japan. The beer garden attached to the museum was built in the Meiji era (1868-1912) and is kept in its stately brick structure. Enjoy Sapporo beer and the local specialty, Jingisukan.
Niseko Resort
It takes about 2 hours from Sapporo by car, and about 3 hours by Hokkaido Chuo Bus "Kosoku Niseko-go". Niseko's powder snow is now popular all over the world. The town is lively and fun to visit not only in winter but also in summer! You can taste delicious food made from local produce throughout the city!
Furano City
It takes about two and a half hours by car using the expressway, or three hours by Hokkaido Chuo Bus "Kosoku Furano-go". In addition to the beautiful natural scenery, you can also taste Hokkaido's delicious vegetables and fruits. Recently, it is also famous as a location for movies and TV dramas.
